Positive Experience
I filed my first claim with Spot Pet Insurance after paying monthly premiums for nearly two years. I am not the kind of person who schemes for insurance payments in efforts to enrich myself. I am very reluctant to file claims with any insurance other than health care. Having entered the claim for my dog’s fractured tooth and cleaning, the program advised me that I would have to submit my dog’s entire medical record to complete the claim filing. My first thought was: “here we go, the first of many hurdles and red tape.” I was however, pleasantly surprised that the claim was approved only a couple of days later without my having to gather records, scan and send them. Spot let me know that a check was coming in the mail. I take good care of my dog and am honest with my insurance claims and I feel that Spot treated me accordingly.
